Welcome to a tutorial on disabling the typing auto-correct feature on Samsung Galaxy devices! Do you find it annoying when your keyboard changes what you are typing? This is the autocorrect feature in action, it’s designed to be helpful but sometimes it can be so relentlessly wrong that it’s maddening.
While it is possible to train your auto-correct by saving words that it doesn’t recognize, you can also disable it altogether if you feel you’d be better off without it!
Steps To Turn Off Auto Correct On Samsung Galaxy Devices:
• Open up the settings app on your device, then scroll down and tap ‘general management‘.
• In general management, tap on ‘Samsung keyboard settings’
• Turn the toggle off for the predictive text feature.
• Your phone will no longer autocorrect what you type. You may notice that after many years of having it on you have been subconsciously relying on autocorrect after all if your notice your typing gets lots of typos! If so, don’t worry, you can always go back and enable it if you need to!
and that draws an end to this tutorial! If you have any questions please leave them in the comments section down below!
