Introduction
Welcome to a tutorial on finding your discord token. They have made it harder to access your token on Discord but its still possible ! Its important to never share or leak your token with anyone as it could allow them to hack or access your Discord account.
Its not reccomended to ever copy your token, but if you do, just make sure to keep it safe.
Steps To Find Your Discord Token:
• To do this you’ll need to use the web version of Discord, not the app. so on your web browser, go to discordapp.com and sign in to your account.
• When you are logged in, you want to open up the ‘developer tools‘ on your web browser: On chrome it’s done by clicking the ‘menu‘ button, selecting ‘more tools‘ and then selecting ‘developer tools’.
• In the developer tools, click ‘application’ from the tabs up top, if you don’t see application click the arrow button to expand the view.
• In the ‘application‘ tab, expand ‘local storage‘ from the left sidebar and then select ‘discordapp.com’. From there, scroll right down to the bottom.
Here is the hard part:
• You need to reload the web page, when you do that keep an eye at the bottom of the dev tools and you will notice that your token appears for a split second and then disappears again.
• You need to quickly reload the page, select the token and then quickly copy it.
• Make sure you use the keyboard shortcut to copy which is ‘CTL & C‘ or ‘CMD & C‘ on a Mac. (You can also quickly reload the page with the ‘f5‘ key on PC, and ‘CMD & R‘ on Mac).
• It may take a few times to get it right but you’ll get it in the end
Once you’ve managed to copy it, you are free to paste it where you need to.
