Introduction
Tutorial on adding a new Google account to your Android device. By connecting a Google account you can easily login to Gmail, Youtube and other Google services on your phone or tablet.
Google accounts aren’t added within the specific app you want to use, instead you need to add them via the main settings on your device.
Steps To Add A Google Account To Android:
Open the Settings app on your Android device
In settings, scroll down to ‘accounts and backup’ .
At the top of the ‘accounts and backup’ settings, tap on ‘manage accounts’.
At the bottom of the list of accounts tap ‘add account’.
Choose the type of account you would like to add, in this case, Google.
Sign in to your google account.
Tap ‘I agree’ to agree to Google’s terms of service and privacy policy once you have read them.
You can choose to backup your data to google drive or not, by switching the toggle on or off.
Tap accept. Your google account has now been added to your Android phone or tablet.
